Tebow tackles NOW

Tim Tebow didn't play in the Super Bowl. But during the game, he made the winning touchdown against NOW. And oh how they shall fume about it.

If you didn't catch it, here's the commercial liberals are having a hard time not despising for it's very warm nature. Darn those Tebows and their playfulness. Darn that positive role model Tim Tebow. Darn it all.

Cute, yes? Absolutely not. It was violent, abusive. How could CBS air such a thing? NOW president Terry O’Neill can't believe it either. She's appalled. The ad, because of it's violent nature, brought back terrible memories of her own domestic abuse when she'd be tackled and then hugged by her Heisman Trophy winning son.
“I am blown away at the celebration of the violence against women in it,” she told the Los Angeles Times. “That’s what comes across to me even more strongly than the anti-abortion message. I myself am a survivor of domestic violence, and I don’t find it charming. I think CBS should be ashamed of itself."

That's exactly right. Tim Tebow and his mother Pam were promoting physical abuse against women. Let's watch the second Tim Tebow commercial to savor the violent relationship between mother and son.

Sad. So sad. If only they could have a healthy, loving relationship.

I'm sure NOW is also upset about the Snicker's ad where Betty White was tackled.

Oh, the violence.

Or the CareerBuilder.com commercial with women in their underwear.

That's so objectifying.

Or...the Budweiser commercial where women are ran over by a truck.

Such ugliness. I can't imagine NOW's outrage at all these videos. Expect more press releases. And now that I see their very valid position, I can't even think of Pam and Tim Tebow and all their loving embraces and "I love you"s and cuteness without cringing.

But lastly, I'd like to leave you with a video that really gives a positive message. Terry Tate tackles Sarah Palin and then stands over her unconscious, crumpled body screaming and ranting. Then it ends with his big, lovable smile and a thumbs up.

I can't embed it because the embedding feature has been disabled. I guess too many people were using it in their inspirational speeches and advocacy presentations for the health and respect of women. It's a great example of what NOW sees as a non-issue because Tate is just so adorable after knocking a conservative woman unconscious. Oh that silly, silly Tate.

Check it out for yourself. You'll want to gather the kiddies around and enjoy the sweetness of a positive message.
