Devout Muslim shooter liked strip clubs

All he wanted was a traditional Muslim wife. But until he found her, he spent his downtime paying for lap dances.

Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan came into the Starz strip club not far from the base at least three times in the past month, the club's general manager, Matthew Jones, told FoxNews.com.

One stripper recalls giving him two $50 lap dances on two consecutive nights in a private room in the back of the club. But hey, this was how he dealt with his distaste and abhorrence of Americans. He's a devout Muslim, remember? A truly religious man doing the work of God.

Hasan's presence at the club paints a starkly different portrait of the alleged killer from that offered by his imam and family members, who have described him as a devout Muslim, and one who had difficulty finding a wife who would wear a head scarf and would pray five times a day.

Why, oh why, couldn't one of those strippers been a praying stripper?

Hasan generally spent six or seven hardcore hours at the club. After a grueling day of sitting on his butt listening, he would subject himself to hours of naked women dancing. No wonder the man went on a shooting rampage, killing innocent and unarmed Americans. The stress of his life was too much. Too much, I tell you.
