Media chases own Tail

SNL goofs on Obama

So CNN goofs on SNL

We now have CNN fact-checking SNL skits when The One is mocked. We can't have our child bride teased. Wolf Blitzer starts by saying how it is "not necessarily all that kind" and that SNL has "cast the Leader of the Free World as a do-nothing President".
Wolf always looks uncomfortable. My guess - an ulcer from all those SNL skits criticizing Bush. How "not necessarily all that kind" they were.

Then we get into the hardcore reporting with the question: Was SNL "harmless humor or damage done?" Get to the bottom of this! And call the White House, let them make a statement. Flower it up.
And unable to miss the opportunity to replay and applaud Tina Fey for her "dead-on impression" of Sarah Palin, CNN ques the archive footage always ready and available on hand.

Don't worry about fact-checking that. It was simply comedy. No harm, no foul. It's not like people think Sarah actually said, "You can see Alaska from my house."
