Senate yanks cash from ACORN

HAHAHAHAHAHA! Hold on. Enjoying this a bit. HAHAHAHA!

Sen. Mike Johanns (R-NE) introduced the amendment to strip ACORN of all federal funding. It passed within the hour, 83-7.
Democrats didn't want to give their pet project to the junk pile. In fact, being those barons of leadership they are, three Dems voted against the bill only to change their vote after seeing their fellow Dems voting for it.
Did you get that memo?

“Who were the seven Child-Whoring Pimp Assistance Program defenders?”
Jim Geraghty of NRO

They are...
- Dick Durbin (D-IL)
- Roland Burris (D-IL)
- Robert Casey (D-PA)
- Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY)
- Patrick Leahy (D-VT)
- Bernie Sanders (I-VT)
- Sheldon Whitehouse (D-RI)

The three who changed their vote:
- Tom Udall (D-NM)
- Frank Lautenberg (D-NJ)
- Herb Kohl (D-WI)

Me and my co-conspirator conservative friends via blogs and twitter are wondering when Obama will announce this isn't the ACORN he thought he knew. Or are they too big to fail?

Also, a criminal investigation is possible. At least the murmurings are murmuring. Kings County District Attorney's Office in Brooklyn is looking into the situation. And, Rep. Darrell Issa (R-CA) wants their 501(c)(3) status probed.

What will the House do? Will Speaker Pelosi stop the acid rain? Don't know. But if another video in another town is released tomorrow, she may not have a choice but to let it pour.
Can we wait until tomorrow for the next brick to drop? Oh...the night is still young.
